Comedian

Born June 5th, 1947 in Martin, Ky. I played my first paying gig in 1959 in Hazard, KY. I worked the USD tour in Europe with Motown Band, and worked single at the Holiday Inns.  My band Memphis Backstage was house band at Shepherdsville Jamboree, and  Country Place Jamboree. Last group was Joe Anthony and Bustin Loose for 17 years. I started with  the Corydon Jamboree in 1991.

I've opened for T. Gramn Brown, backed Johnny Paycheck, played with Johnny Lee & Yellow Rose of Texas band. Did a show with Oswald & Harold Weakly for crippled children. And worked for Jerry Lewis Telethon for 16 years & The Crusade for Children for 12 years. In between I've worked on Carnival Cruise Lines & various Comedy Clubs.

I received 1st place Talent Award from  WTMT Radio in Louisville, KY and a Letter of Appreciation from Marine Corps League & Vienam Veterans United.

My biggest Blessing is my wonderful wife Barbara, my son D.J. and my sweet little daughter Mallory. And I have to say, the many friends I've  made at the Corydon Jamboree.
