Gary L. Timberlake Sr.
Steel Guitar
Born March 16th, 1951 in Corydon, Indiana. I started playing Pedal Steel Guitar in 1977, I played local clubs in Southern Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky. I played on the road for a few years. I also worked at a Furniture Factory for 18 years but still played music as a hobby. I played with a group called Southern Breed for about 15 years, who played at V.F.W. Eagle Clubs, and dances on the weekends. I never thought I would like playing at Jamboree's because it is very different than in a band where you always know what songs you are doing every night. But the Broken Hearts group has so many talented people that it has really became fun for me. I have been at the Corydon Jamboree for 14 years.
I have been married to my wife Mindy for 36 years, we have two boys Kent (22 years old) and Gary Jr. (25 years old). I also have a wonderful daughter-in-law Gayla who is married to my oldest son Gary. Gary & Gayla are the proud parents of a beautiful little girl (Mary Addison) who was born September 10th, 2008. She keeps us all in line and we love every minute of it.
I love country music and steel guitar, but the love for my family has always been first in my life....And I thank God for them every day.
