Lee Parr King

Lee was born September 24th, 1937 in Louisville, Ky, he was raised in Wolfcreek, Ky and at the age of 9 years old started music lessons. He started playing with his first band at the age of 18, plus he was the music director for Wolfcreek Baptist Church for a number of years. He started the Corydon Jamboree in March of 1992.

He has had the opportunity to work with Jerry Reed, Texas Troubadours, Jett Williams, Hager Twins, Helen Cornelius, Don Helms, and Jerry Rivers. Also he has had the opportunity to work with some of the finest local and regional musician's...and for that Lee say's he is extremely grateful.
